Charities and nonprofits are under increasing pressure, but what do those pressures look like from the inside? From the funding landscape to workforce wellbeing, from shifting political winds to questions of public trust, it can be difficult to keep track of all the challenges and opportunities facing the sector in 2025.
There’s no shortage of conversation about risk in the charity world. But there’s far less data.
That’s why we’re collaborating with Bayes Business School and Heyheyjoe on a short new survey aimed at capturing the experiences, concerns and insights of people working in and around charities. Whether you’re in leadership, operations, research, communications or fundraising, your perspective matters.
Have your say – fill out the survey here.
This is a quick but thorough chance to reflect on what your organisation is grappling with. What’s rising up your list of concerns? What’s going under the radar? What’s helping you stay afloat?
We know how hard it can be to find time to pause, reflect or compare notes with peers. But we also know that good data is the foundation for better conversations, stronger support and smarter strategies.
By taking five minutes to share your experience, you’ll be contributing to a more honest and useful picture of where the sector is right now – and where it might be headed.
The survey is open to anyone working in or with charities, whether in the UK or further afield, and all responses are confidential. It closes on Monday 1 September.
If you’ve already responded, thank you – and please do pass it on to a colleague or network. The more perspectives we gather, the stronger and more representative the insight will be.
Let’s build the evidence base our sector needs: fill out the survey today.
